Quick diagnosis — Identify your problem type first
Before spending time, identify your issue category: (A) Installation — APK won't install or crashes on open. (B) Connection — app opens but can't reach the server. (C) Account — login fails or account is locked. (D) Payment — deposit not credited or withdrawal pending. (E) Gameplay — slot won't load or crashes mid-game. Each category has its own fix section below.
Category A: Installation problems (Android & iOS)
Android "App not installed": Enable Settings → Security → Install Unknown Apps → allow your browser. If still failing, check storage (need at least 200MB free). Android "Parse error": APK is corrupted — re-download from the official source. iOS "Untrusted Developer": Settings → General → VPN & Device Management → select profile → Trust. iOS "Profile installation failed": Open Settings → General → Profile → remove old profile → try installing again using Safari (not Chrome).
Category B: Connection problems
Persistent "Connection error" is usually not a server issue on our end — it's an ISP issue. Test: try opening google.com on the same device. If slow, your internet is the problem. Common fixes: switch between WiFi and mobile data. Restart your router. Change DNS to 1.1.1.1 (Cloudflare) or 8.8.8.8 (Google). If only Mega888 is slow, your ISP may be throttling — use a VPN like ProtonVPN (free) or Cloudflare WARP. Our own servers are rarely down — we maintain from 4-6 AM Malaysia time.
Category C: Login and account problems
"Login failed" after entering correct ID: 90% of cases are caused by an outdated APK. Download the latest version. If still failing, your account may be locked after 5 wrong attempts — wait 30 minutes or contact support. "Account not found": your ID may have been deactivated for being inactive over 90 days — can be reactivated through support. "Session expired": normal after 24 hours of inactivity — log in again.
Category D: Deposit and withdrawal problems
Deposit not credited after 10 minutes: payment proof was not uploaded or uploaded wrong. Contact support with the bank transaction reference and timestamp. Withdrawal pending over 30 minutes (under RM3,000): usually means the receiving bank is slow — not our delay. Withdrawals over RM3,000 require manual staff verification. Withdrawals after business hours (after 9 PM): processed the next morning between 9-10 AM.
Category E: Gameplay problems
Slot won't load after selection: clear app cache (Settings → Apps → Mega888 → Storage → Clear Cache). Slot crashes mid-game: device RAM is likely full — close other apps. Graphics lag or stutter: reduce graphics settings in the game menu, or use 5GHz WiFi instead of 2.4GHz. Bonus not activated: check T&Cs — some bonuses require a minimum deposit or only apply to specific games.
When to contact support
Try self-fixes first — 80% of issues resolve within 5 minutes. Contact support if: (1) you've tried the fixes in this guide and still can't resolve it, (2) money is involved (lost deposit, withdrawal pending over 30 minutes), (3) account is locked and you're sure the password is correct, (4) you receive a message accusing you of T&C violation. Have ready: account ID, time of incident, error screenshot. WhatsApp support average response: 90 seconds during business hours.
